The session was conducted by <strong>Mr. Shankar Gharge <\/strong>[Researcher] from KLE Academy of Higher Education &amp; Research, Belagavi. The speaker introduced the concept of molecular docking, explaining its principles, types and scoring functions. Real-world applications were showcased, especially in drug design, target identification, and virtual screening. Various docking software tools were mentioned such as Schr\u00f6dinger, Autodock, Pyrex and MOE also the website to collect protein &amp; ligand structure like PDB and Pubchem respectively. \u00a0A step-by-step overview of a docking simulation was presented.
