D. Mane (Anna), the Kagal Education Society\u2019s Y. D. Mane Campus launched the <strong>\u201cAvoid Plastic\u201d initiative<\/strong>. The Faculty of Social Activity and NSS Unit organized a <strong>\u201cNo Plastic Campaign\u201d<\/strong>on<strong> 9th and 23rd December 2024<\/strong> to raise awareness among local communities about the harmful effects of plastic waste on the environment and human health. The campaign included visits to <strong>Kagal City, Bus Stand, and Depot<\/strong><strong>,<\/strong> where students, faculty, and staff of <strong>B. Pharm and D. Pharm<\/strong> actively interacted with the public. The program was <strong>flagged off by HOD Mr. Rituraj Desai<\/strong><strong>,<\/strong> with enthusiastic participation from all departments. Under this initiative, all institutes of the Kagal Education Society collected <strong>1500 kg of plastic waste<\/strong><strong>,<\/strong> including <strong>304 kg by Y. D.
