D. Mane Institute of Pharmacy, Kagal successfully organized <strong>Pharmacovigilance Week<\/strong> with the aim to raise awareness on drug safety, promote adverse drug reaction (ADR) reporting, and strengthen the culture of pharmacovigilance among students.<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Activity 1: Guest Lecture<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Date:<\/strong> 22<sup>nd<\/sup> September 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A guest lecture on \u201cYour Safety, Just a Click Away: Report to PvPI\u201d was delivered by Dr. Nayeem Khateeb, HOD, Pharmacology, KLE College of Pharmacy, Belagavi.<br>The session highlighted the importance of timely ADR reporting to the Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI) and motivated students to actively participate in drug safety initiatives.<br>The event was graced by Principal Dr. Samiullah A. Auti, faculty members, and all students. The lecture proved highly informative and fulfilled its objective of enhancing pharmacovigilance awareness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Activity 2: Institute Level Quiz Competition<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Date:<\/strong> 24<sup>th<\/sup> September 2025<br>An institute-level quiz competition was conducted to test students\u2019 knowledge of pharmacovigilance. Seven teams from B. Pharm and D. Pharm participated across four rounds\u2014General Knowledge, Visual, Rapid Fire, and Buzzer.<br>The event was coordinated by <strong>Ms. Swagata Godabole<\/strong> and <strong>Ms. Nikhita Bhosale<\/strong>, and judged by <strong>Dr. K. Satish Kumar<\/strong> and <strong>Dr. Nilesh Desai<\/strong>.<br><strong>Winners:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>1st Rank:<\/strong> Final Year B. Pharm<\/li><li><strong>2nd Rank:<\/strong> Final Year B. Pharm<\/li><li><strong>3rd Rank:<\/strong> Third Year B. Pharm<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The competition encouraged academic excellence and increased interest in drug safety practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Activity 3: Street Play<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Date: <\/strong>25<sup>th<\/sup> September 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A street play was performed at <strong>Gaibi Chouk, Kagal<\/strong> to educate the public about ADR reporting and responsible medicine use. Real-life scenarios emphasized the risks of ignoring side effects.<br><strong>PSI Gajendra Lohar<\/strong> and his team attended the event and delivered a strong message on saying no to drugs and preventing drug misuse.<br>The rally received strong support from <strong>Principal Dr. Samiullah A. Auti<\/strong>, teaching and non-teaching staff, and management members including <strong>Shri. Pratap Mane<\/strong>, <strong>Shri.
