Highlight’s of Events:
With the objective of promoting social responsibility, on the occasion of the 95th birth anniversary of Late Y. D. Mane, Kagal Education Society’s Y. D. Mane Campus organized a Plastic Eradication Campaign and a “Best out of Waste” initiative. All departments of the campus jointly collected two tonnes of plastic.
The programme was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Hon. Tahsildar Mr. Amardeep Wakade. He appreciated the initiative and the efforts of the students, encouraged them to appear for competitive examinations, and advised them to understand and respect the hard work of their parents.
As part of the campaign, all institutes of the campus organized a rally in the campus premises and Kagal city to create social awareness about the harmful effects of plastic usage. Students visited households across the city to collect plastic waste. All teaching and non-teaching staff of the campus actively participated along with the students. The programme was successfully conducted under the guidance and planning of our college Principal Dr. Kalluri SatishKumar.
On this occasion, Secretary of Kagal Education Society Mr. Bhaiya Mane, KES Director Mr. Bipin Mane, and Vice President Mr. Sunil Mane and Campus Director Ms. Shilpa Patil were prominently present.
In the Plastic Collection Campaign competition, A. D. Mane International Academy secured first place by collecting 589.4 kg of plastic. In the “Best out of Waste” competition, Mr.Gaurav Kanganefrom Y. D. Mane Institute of Technology (ITI) secured first place in the senior group, while Ms. Sai Telvekar secured first place in the junior group.
